Inspired by our very own #Britinspace Tim Peake, and designed for Google Cardboard, EVA Spacewalk Emergency VR is a first-person virtual reality game, where you play the part of an astronaut tinkering about on the International Space Station.During an EVA (extra vehicular activity) something went wrong; you regain consciousness to find yourself drifting untethered at 27,000 mph... but you’re made of sterner stuff than to let this little mishap worry you: equipped with a NASA SAFER a (simplified air for EVA rescue) – a jet pack - you just need to navigate your way back to the airlock.
With a limited fuel supply and Co2 building up can you make it back to the airlock alive?
EVA Spacewalk Emergency VR has 3 difficulty levels, where fuel, thrust control, and Co2 build-up are increasingly difficult, and even a swimming pool training level (NASA Neutral Buoyancy Lab).
This game also supports embedded reality using your phones built-in camera to monitor the real-world whilst you play.
